EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Josh was born in Knoxville, TN. From a young age he developed a deep love for soccer in which he went on to play at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY. The Lord began to use his love for Soccer as a platform to share Christ’s love with others when he was introduced to sports ministry on a high school trip to Brazil with the Charlotte Eagles. He has had the opportunity to be a part of 20 different sports ministry trips across 5 countries through MAI. Out of college Josh lived and worked in an immigrant and refugee community in West Chicago, IL where he did sports ministry with the Chicago Eagles. Josh is excited to take his experience as a Youth Director, coach, and neighbor in West Chicago back to the college city that has a special place in his heart. Today Josh serves as the Executive Director for the Lexington Eagles. Josh is the proud husband of his wife Charlotte and father of their two-year-old Jax.

YOUTH DIRECTOR

Chris was born in St. Charles, IL. Anyone who knows him knows that soccer and Jesus has been a life-long love. Chris played for the Chicago Eagles club program in high school and continued his soccer career to Grove City College in Grove City, PA. Chris’s passion for sports ministry was stemmed out of the 2 Chicago Eagle’s Summer Academy’s he participated in, which allowed him to experience sports ministry in Brazil and coaching youth soccer camps around Chicago. After experiencing the opportunity that God gives us to use soccer as a platform to share the Gospel and building relationships in our community, Chris knew that he wanted to join MAI. Chris’s passion for the youth is seen through the love of coaching and investing into local communities. As the Lexington Eagles Youth Director, he will get to combine these two to invest in the youth of Lexington with the transforming gospel of Jesus using the beautiful game of soccer.
